Photo Line of Authority Prints To Fit Your Scriptures

These prints are produced on card stock and are ready to frame or put in your scriptures. If you would like a size not listed here give us a call. We can print almost any size! To place your order choose from the options below and provide us with your photos and ordination information. We will do the rest plus we will Email you a PDF proof before printing so you can be sure your print will turn out perfect!
If you have a picture of someone in your Priesthood Line of Authority that is not in digital form, we can scan it for you. We charge $5 to scan photographs into digital form. If you are unable to locate a picture for someone in your Priesthood Line of Authority we can use a generic icon in place of their photograph. This is the icon we currently use in place of a missing picture.
Members of the Church can obtain help in getting information about and copies of their individual Melchizedek priesthood lines of authority.
Members can also request help with obtaining the line of authority for an ancestor in their direct line, like a grandfather or great-grandfather.
Contact Member and Statistical Records at Church Headquarters in one of the following ways:
- Email: lineofauthority@ldschurch.org with PLA in the subject line. In return you’ll receive a form to fill out and return (this is an automated reply to any message that contains “PLA” in the subject line).
- Phone: 800-453-3860 ext 23500 then choose option 6, then option 3. After the message and tone leave a voice mail message with your fax number or mailing address. The form will be mailed to you.
- Phone: 800-453-3860 ext 23500 then choose option 6, then option 2. After being on hold (potentially for a considerable time), tell the attendant that you’d like a copy of your priesthood line of authority. They’ll mail it to you.
Because of privacy concerns and in order to locate your records you will be asked to verify some of your personal information. Some of the information you may need to have available is:
- Full name of the priesthood holder
- Date of birth
- Current ward and stake
- Current priesthood office held
- Address and ZIP Code
- Who performed the ordination
